Sarah is a planning lawyer with extensive experience advising both private and public sector clients in relation to all aspects of planning law.
She specialises in providing strategic planning advice, reviewing planning applications, drafting section 106 and infrastructure agreements and advising on environmental impact assessments and highways matters, particularly in the context of large-scale, complex development projects. She also advises on enforcement issues, planning appeals, judicial review, the Community Infrastructure Levy and general planning law queries.
Sarah prides herself on providing pragmatic, solutions-based advice to her clients, who include residential and commercial developers and local authorities.
During her career, Sarah has advised on numerous high-profile, central London housing and commercial schemes and major housing-led development projects.
Before joining Merali Beedle, Sarah was a long-standing member of the highly-rated planning team at Ashurst LLP and prior to that was a solicitor at the City of London Corporation.
