Monica joined Merali Beedle in December 2024 as a qualified Italian lawyer (Avvocato) and English Solicitor, bringing a wealth of experience in both cross border and private client matters.
After completing her Master’s Degree in Law at the University of Bologna in Italy, Monica moved to London in 2012 to begin her legal career. She started working at a boutique firm in the City, where she developed expertise in commercial law, before moving to a medium-sized firm to specialise in Private Client matters. In 2020, Monica joined Buckles LLP and she played a pivotal role in establishing the firm’s International Private Client Department, further honing her skills in cross-border issues. She now primarily assists UK-based clients with complex multi-jurisdictional matters involving Italian and English Law.
Monica’s expertise covers a wide range of issues such as: selling or purchasing properties in Italy, administering successions with assets in Italy and in the UK, drafting Wills valid in the UK and/or under Italian Law and advising UK-domiciled / non-domiciled individuals on estate planning, involving assets in the UK and/or in Italy.
Monica is committed to providing tailored, high-quality legal services with a friendly, professional, and empathetic approach. She is a Member-Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has earned a distinction in the STEP Certificate in Financial Services Trusts and Estate Planning.
